Story
It has been 15 years since the Far Away War Ended, Earth is stuck in a large time Stop, following the destructive 11 year war that began in the last years of the 80s in 1991, following a 2 separate Occupations and Invasions that occured from 1991 to 1999, until the arrival of the Galactic Republic in 2003, which finally ended the destructive war in not just Earth but the Solar System in General, however, little did people know, was that their liberators and saviors would return 15 years later as their conquerors.

15 Years following the bloody War, Earth was stuck in a time stop, as of 2003 going all the way to 2018, Earth was never able to reverse engineer and advance its technology, as the Galactic Republic at the time had eliminated and cleansed all traces of both the Trade Federation and CIS Occupations, and the damage sustained to Earth including the devastating Nuclear Holocaust of 1992, would further force Earth into being stuck in the 80s Generation, the Soviet Union never fell due to the Invasion of 1991, the Touch screens and Online Gaming Networks would never be invented, and a lot of advanced technologies that we use today would never be made, instead Earth used what technology they had left in order to try and rebuilt its ruined cities which at the time were 98 percent destroyed, some to the point of never being repopulated again.

However, by the time of 2018, despite being in a time stop, most of the worlds militarizes were able to recover with newer more deadlier tanks and APCs, compared to their standard issue 80s Vehicles, however little did the people of Earth know, was that 2018, is where it would soon begin.

Beginning in the Middle East, the Galactic Empire launch their invasion, despite the worlds militarizes uniting as they once did during the Far Away War, the situation in the Middle East spiraled out of control as the Empire soon spread into Eastern and Western Europe by 2019, leading to one of the most largest land engagements to ever plague the planet, occurring in Ukraine.

The situation only got worse as more and more Imperial forces arrived on Earth, from the nearby planets that were taken over by the Galactic Empire years earlier since 2012, and began to orbital bombard cities world wide, to the point by the autumn of 2019, the worlds militarizes began to deteriorate rapidly to the point by the summer of 2020 supplies and weapons factories were becoming almost non-Existent, that it was becoming literally impossible to replace any vehicle or bullet that was fired at the empire, by September 2nd, 2020, nearly 99 percent of Earth was under Imperial rule forcing all Armies to now abandon their homelands entirely and take refuge in Antarctica, however, the last of the military munitions factories world wide were destroyed completely to the point that by October 22nd, all attempts of trying to keep world armies around for their national origin was literally dead, as all state army Headquarters were raised to the ground, defense and army leaders dead by the millions, along with war supplies even being unable to be replaced, by October of 2020, causalities that were vehicle or gun related were gone for good, any tank that was destroyed by the Galactic Empire, could no longer be remade, due to the lack of parts and munition factories, forcing the people of Earth to evacuate all equipment to Antarctica prior to Earth's complete conquering on October 22nd, 2020.

Despite the extinction of the worlds militaries, this was not the end, as a year later following Earth's coquering the citizens of Earth both military and civilian alike would go on to create the Earth Resistance, where despite other Resistance cells being operated across the world in Imperial held continents, including one created by Star Wars creator George Lucas himself in North America, the Earth Resistance was the most widely known due to it being the largest of all other groups, and was considered to be the last military left on Earth, if the Earth Resistance falls, Earth is doomed.

Now it is 2024, about 4 years into the Imperial Occupation, the Earth Resistance after having to spend the last 3 years fighting a defensive war, was finally able to start fighting the Empire head to head since 2022, when the Death Star in the Star Wars Galaxy was blown up, by the Alliance to Restore the Republic, further forcing the Galactic Empire to send the bulk of its forces through the black hole which was the tunneling system between both our universes in order to deal with the Empire, finally allowing Earth a chance to conduct some counter attacks, despite the Imperial Presence on Earth and the solar system still being strong.

Now on May 14th, 2024 on the very birthday of George Lucas, Earth prepares for Operation Orbital, the first official turning point in Earth's military history in ever bringing the Earth Imperial War, into Space, in hopes of attacking the Galactic Empire on planets within the Solar System.

NOTE: When you download Imperial Conquest, You will need the Galaxy at War Mod in order to get the Walkers working right, if you try to play Imperial Conquest without the Galaxy at War Mod installed after, the walkers will not move, they will slide across the ground, and vehicles will not explode properly.

This mod is also compatible with any "Galaxy At war Content". There are currently very few maps and is for the time being editor only. This mod will be uploaded shortly so hang it there! NOTE: This mod requires Galaxy at War Version 0.6 from Mod db, I will post a link to the Mod in the Description Below, once you have this mod activated your walkers will move better, and your Earth Vehicles will work just fine, without crashing your game, Never use the Galaxy at War from Steam which would be Version 0.52.4, It will cause so many Earth Vehicles to crash, and it will drive you nuts, you need Version 0.6 for everything to work, thank you.

1. Sahara Campaign...

1. Assault on Samahaki: Play as the Earth Resistance during the first day of the Battle of the Sahara, as you attempt to try and launch a full scale offensive against the ruined Village of the once former City State of Samahaki in Libya, as you attempt to survive the Bloody Urban War that occurred during the Battle of Samahaki on May 14th, 2024...

2. Raid on Galdorph Gorge: The Empire has established multiple weapon caches all across Earth, but the biggest one is located within the Southern Sahara, which contains a wide vast of munitions. Conduct a raid behind Imperial Lines in the final hours of May 14th, 2024, destroy all Imperial personal, capture munitions for the Resistance, and vacate the area, before reinforcements can arrive.

3. Clash of Mogogo: The Earth Resistance have begun expanding their forces through the Desert in order to make the Galactic Empire believe, that a counterattack has been unleashed in order to reclaim North Africa, however little does the Empire know, is that this expansion is just a diversion in order to by time for the the supplies to arrive at Helios for Operation Orbital, however despite multiple territorial gains to the North, in the South the situation becomes critical. Our forces are having difficulty in the Mogogo Province about 15 miles South of Fort Helios, as Imperial forces have counterattacked and are have forced the Earth military back towards the Togoga Bluffs. Move over there and help the Earth Resistance turn the tide, before the Galactic Empire overrun the site, a victory here, will take pressure off of our hold on Fort Helios, and finally allow us to move in and unleash Operation Orbital once our supplies arrive from the Mediterranean.

4. The Search for NH-90: A German Helicopter has been shot down, the aircraft contains vital documents on how Operation Orbital is going to be conducted, enter the ruins of what used to be the City of Howa, and find that transport helicopter before the Empire does, the Empire must not learn of Operation Orbital, for if they do, this whole campaign will end in failure, and the Corvette in orbit will move out of the area where we cannot reach it, get out there now, and take back those documents before the Empire get their hands on them.

5. Operation Ramus: The Tyderium Shuttles have launched carrying with them multiple Earth Resistance forces embarked for the Imperial Corvette in Orbit, Lars Karnor is among the boarding party that is sent into take over the Vessel, while the assault on the Corvette is occurring, Earth Resistance forces continue to gain ground in some areas of the Sahara, while looking for a spot in order to create a field headquarters so that they can hold out until the Corvette is captured. For this, Operation Ramus is unleashed and multiple small units of Earth Resistance forces are sent out in order to scout out locations for the Resistance to erect their base of operations, one of these instillation is the old abandoned air force base of Kellogg located within the Hanmusta Province of the Sahara, an area which Viper Squad had decided to check out. Scout out the base, and determine if it is still in a good enough condition to be used to hold out against the Empire until the Corvette is taken.

For those who want to know the file size the mod is, it used to be 50 GB but that is subject to change as 2091riveraisreal is working very hard day and night to make the file size much smaller. for those who don't have much storage. Also, when downloading the mod it is required that you need a stable internet connection with at least decent internet. Otherwise, it may not work properly. If so, install it again and if that does not work, then contact me or 2091riveraisrael and tell us the problem so we may try and fix it. Thank you for reading this.

For now everyone has to get the mod here: Steamcommunity.com

and if anyone gets any bugs (from either version) make sure you only have this mod enabled (most mods/addons for the galaxy at war mod work with this mod too). If you still have a bug please let us know and we'll do our best we can to help those who need it.

NOTE: We are looking for people who are willing to help us develop/work on this mod, (and no, there isn't pay or any kind of money involved) and we are looking for people who are seriously going to help us with this mod and stick with us as long as we need them. And if someone tries to steal our content or the content of the others we had help from we will take care of you and report those who do. So, before you decide to help us make sure you actually will. We are looking for any kind of help whether it be mission-making, map-making, or even ideas in general.
