Immersion 1944 is a - finally - Singleplayer Mod for Company of Heroes 1. It provides tons of historical skins, several new missions and enhanced campaigns that are altered to better mimic the historical engagements, with more correct units, bigger vehicle choice and lots of random stuff that makes every single vehicle or soldier look unique.

Hello,

I've been enjoying Immersion 1944 immensely the past several days and wanted to say thanks. The updated textures and sounds are excellent.

I read elsewhere that you plan on rebalancing weapons and units in the future to make the combat more realistic. I hope you also retain a version of this mod without vanilla gameplay rebalances. I respect other people's desire for it, but I personally don't play CoH for realistic combat. I think it excels at fast-paced, gamey combat and I think making the game more realistic messes with that. If I want to play a realistic WW2 RTS I'd probably play Graviteam Tactics Mius Front or Combat Mission. I hope having two separate versions with and without gameplay rebalance isn't too much work.

I understand it's your mod and you're doing this for free, so I appreciate whatever work you do on this at the end of the day. Thanks again!

Hi, thanks for the compliments, and sorry for my very late reply.
I will definetly keep a vanilla-like Immersion Mod version as well
