Immersion 1944 is a - finally - Singleplayer Mod for Company of Heroes 1. It provides tons of historical skins, several new missions and enhanced campaigns that are altered to better mimic the historical engagements, with more correct units, bigger vehicle choice and lots of random stuff that makes every single vehicle or soldier look unique.

Here are some things I would like to note in your mod:

Luftwaffen Infantry

The field division smock in Sumpftarn was quite rare, so rare that I doubt it deserves a variation.

There shouldn't be that much Luftwaffe blue either, try to add some Luftwaffe green as well. Regular tunics instead of Fliegerbluse would also be nice (those only came in reed green for enlisted).

Additionally, since the field divisions in Normandy were under Heer command, you could also see a lot of field division men wearing Heer gear like tunics or field caps, or insignia like Litzen. No insignia on collar can also work.

Regulations were in fact not quite followed, so you can mismatch a lot of Heer and LW stuff (there are limits though).

German Armored Cars

If possible, German recon vehicle crewmen should get the corresponding uniform (waffenfarbe)

The pattern on the camo uniforms for the 2nd Armored troops is too large, and too reddish. Compare to this example:

As far as I know there was only one pattern variant issued to troops in the ETO.

I should also note that Armored Infantry were initially issued musette bags like the Airborne and not haversacks (until replacements started coming in). I would bargain for a mix of both of them. If that's not possible they should have the musette bags.

Some scrim on the helmets of regular infantry would look nice as well. It wasn't common only to Airborne and the 41st AIR.

Hi,

thanks for the remarks, all are quite helpful, I will try to adapt them into the mod sometime. Although I doubt that I will really add the yellow waffenfarbe for recon units, as it is quite a lot of resources ( models , textures , ( time) etc ) just for some yellow piping. But you never know.. ;)
