I have been improving one of Undying Nephalim's older releases of Hyrule Total War - namely the 3.8 version released at the end of 2014 and the final version with all the old faction rosters. The mod will have custom strat-map cities/agents, custom battle-map settlements, new resources on the map, new factions such as Majora and the Oocca, new units for most older factions and the minor factions especially, new animations, new 2d-art. Majora will use unused reskins for the Zora, Kokiri, Gorons and Hylians made by the Undying Nephalim, while also using new re-skins made by Codeman over at the Hyrule Conquest Discord for the rest of the intended factions that Neph intended for Majora to use - and this submod aims to bring you the most finished Hyrule Total War yet - using the older models because i think some of them were better but not all.
This is Hyrule Total War: Classic Ultimate with 17 out of 28 factions having all their strat-models updated - we have new generals and heroes on the map for the Kingdom of Hyrule, the Gerudo, Sheikah, Order of the Wizzrobe, Labrynna Regime, Huskus Remnants, Fairies of Tarm, Gorons, Zora, River Zora, Lanayru Province, Ordona Province, Stalfos, Tokay, Subrosia, Horon and the Church of Majora - all of them with new custom models made in march of 2021. I've also fixed the UI-info cards so that all of them have the same size - no more varied sizes which should hopefully fix the CTD when right-clicking on unit-cards on the campaign map, stat-changes have been made to some units to be closer to Neph'so original release. - 86 new strat-models in total including a new general for the Forces of the Twilight, with a red re-skin for Zant. Originally I had intended to finish every faction before releasing this version publicly, but instead there will be another release with the rest.
hoho yeeeah!thanks for your hard work!you finally nailed the old total war medieval engine in this sector .I know theres others who tried another better way but all of you who is doing the old school hyrule is great.my appreciation.And good luck with other projects,loving you modders of the time
No problem, and it will have another release with the 10 final factions getting their heroes/generals on the map as well. I did realize this was summer-time so there were no reason to hold this in anymore.
My PC find this threat ''Trojan:Win32/Glupteba!ml'' in the M2TWEOP.exe files, is that normal?
Yes, you'd need to make an exception in your firewall for the M2TWEOP-tool or it will be removed by the firewall and you can't play the game on a win 10. Because without the tool the Gohma and/or any giant heroes will crash.
Why does the file read as a Trojan in the first place?
Because it modifies the .exe of the game while the game is running.

No problem, you'd need to make an exception for the M2TWEOP-tool otherwise the firewall will remove it. It should work well if you start it using the tool.
On a Win 7 you can use the AUI.bat-file, but on Windows 10 the M2TWEOP-tool is needed.

nice mod, but where is unit voice?
Units do not have any voices in this mod, as Neph decided that instead of finding voice-actors or adding sound from the Zelda-games he'd just remove their voices altogether - characters in Zelda never speak by the way. - They do have text-messages but no actual voices in the older games.
I'm not sure about the later games if they do actually speak. Usually they have sounds when speaking similar to The Sims.

My only issue is that my Labrynna cannon crew seems to like having a walk about during the battle.
What do you mean?
The cannons function like any cannon-artillery of the vanilla Medieval 2-game.
I don't think that is a bug.
Edit: The pioneers have the civilian animation because I'm using that for the militia of every faction. It will make the unit patrol the cities when left alone. It's entirely there for immersion.
The crews of the cannons should be a different unit but I'll look into that asap. If they use the pioneers then yes, they would start walking around which isn't intended for the crews - only for the pioneers.

Just letting you know that I just tested both Ikana's and Lanayru's artillery units and their crews also seem to walk around like the militia.
I'll restore all the crews and militia in the next release.
i dont think glaive grunts should have this civilian animation thing as they are the base unit in gerudo armies. is there a way to get rid of it?
They were patrolling in Ocarina of Time so I disagree.
One has to change a line in the battlemodel.modeldb-file - it's not easy for a newbie unless you move over an animation from the other spearmen.
having a defensive unit sprawling around the battlefield kinda just makes them pointless to use in my opinion. especially since it renders the schiltrom formation useless for them to use.
Well, I like when they do that in cities - not necessarily on the battlefield.
It's something I did for my own enjoyment when defending cities.
minor complaint why aren't the heroes from the grand campaign in the custom battles other then that I love the mod 10/10
They aren't because there is a limit of 500 units in the mod - and by removing over 50 heroes I was able to add 50 new units to the campaign.
Having heroes in custom battle means they'll take up unit-slots from other units. My sub-mod is a campaign-focused project first and foremost.
In the campaign they do not steal unit-slots and you can have unlimited custom generals in the campaign.

Have encountered an odd bug where the Wizrobe Order is asking me to refuse or accept them taking a town they already have and it causes my curser to remain in a loading loop unable to click out regardless of which option I select.

I was recently helping my husband get the mod again, I noticed that this file was here, is this a completely new version of the mod with updated strat-models? Was wondering since I have an older version of the mod, didn't see how to install this one.
Yes, it has 86 new strat-map models in the campaign, for mostly generic generals and heroes - so you'd get characters like Link and Zelda on the campaign-map.
Of course 10 factions are still unfinished.
I didn't replace Undying Nephalims models neither, as he had only made soldiers - I've added the generic generals and the heroes.
I've also added new agents for the Church of Majora and the Fairies of Tarm - did all of this between March 13th and March 31st 2021 - then I didn't plan on releasing the mod until the final 10 factions had been finished but changed my mind on July 31st and released this package.
It also included a fix to the "Horon Civilians" not being recruitable by factions after Horon did assimilate into a faction.
And the Oocca got nerfed.
And all the Unit_Info-cards got resized where needed to remove a CTD when right-clicking Unit-cards on the map.
Hello there i have encountered a problem with the religious buildings of certain factions (for example the fairies) are spreading lesser diety worship instead of nature worship for example, additionaly when i allied myself with the husks the emperess had the standart bodyguard unit of my faction instead of the special one.
Ah, that issue with the Empress might be caused by the re-spawn that happens when she joins a faction - I had the same issue with the twilight-generals that are joining Zant or Midna after the other has surrendered - they'd re-spawn with the wrong bodyguard, this was caused because they didn't have a new name - I fixed it by adding new name-entries for the new versions of the same characters spawning for the other faction.
With the Empress she might need a different name but as that's an old script I'm surprised it doesn't work as intended.
About the religious stuff i don't know why that is happening and if they have an issue with their coding.
