My only questions are will you still be able to do the death matches and skirmishes? Oh and will you only be able to take control of strikecraft or do you plan to make cruisers controllable?
Well, I plan to make one or two new modes for this mod so that players can enjoy this mod much better, the old deathmatch mode is too boring in this new mod, but I don't have any ideas that are clear enough. And......yeah, I do know that people all want to drive some 'big' ships rather than those small fighters, but they are quite different, that means I need to start a new work on that, so frigates and capital ships won't be controllable in the near future, buy I'll try to do that as soon as possible.
I don't think you should remove the trails, but besides that it looks amazing! I can see how it would be such a different experience.
I removed the trails in V0.05, because people all complained that the trails obstructed their view.

But would it be possible to making a chasing camera so it would be easier to shoot in 3rd person?

I don't think I can improve the camera any more, but who knows...I just improved the firing system, a really great improvement...
He means for the player to be able to shoot and fire missiles while the camera is behind the ship, not while it is in the "cockpit view." If you could somehow make it so we can switch between the views that would be really cool :)
I see...in fact, there is no real "cockpit view" at all, the camera is behind the ship all the time, but sometimes they can be very close to each other, and the ship become totally invisible at the same time, just like a "cockpit view"...now players can switch between this two kinds of views, but if you were shooting or preparing to launch missiles, I must switch it to the "cockpit view", or you won't see your target, because your ship is right on the middle of the screen, not on the lower part as those in FPS games.
