The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.
Testing Badge and Christmas Tree.
No stripe yet.
That is HOT, now if only we could get these ships into HW 1.
He said he would want to: Forums.relicnews.com
There is a problem with texture memory. I know only 1 mod which by hardcoding made it from 32 to 128 MB.

Pure amazing.
Impressive as always. :-)
It's just so epic!
so... my new background :P Thank you! Amazing!
Why adding them into HW1? I want HW1's campaign in HW2! With all the interface improvements and stuff.
GOOD JOB PEOPLE!
+1 would be epic. almost can't really cap unlimited ships in hw2 lol plus the aggression the ai gets from the players fleet expect massive lag.
I would really like to get the redone ships since they are of better make since ours are direct ports, honestly thou i dont get why people like only GFX and not gameplay. Keep up the good work JK you know where to find me when ya need me.
You can't have one without other. You can't have beutiful clenots of a ships in a gameplay that is painfully empty and you can't fly untextured bricks in an interesting gameplay (...well unless you're Flotilla of course).
The perfect mod is composed of both.
You should focus on both and keep them both to a certain standard. When it comes to graphics, it doesn't have to look stunning (though let's not pretend it doesn't help), it just can't be god awful ugly. For many people (including me) ugly is a deal breaker.
And it goes the other way around. Haegemonia was a space RTS that looked beautiful, but you Homeworld people please promise me you won't play that game, you would be sad.
Just keep some ballance, that's all.
"people like only GFX".
I think this is an impression, not a fact.
Few people are skilled to script new forms of gameplay, that's why the focus at the moment is the remastering part. We don't have the necessary skills altogether yet.
