The HD Version of the famous BG in HW1, the Cathedral of Kadesh. Will appear in v2.2 as a new map background.
This is the HD version of the famous BG in HW1, the Cathedral of Kadesh that I drew recently. Here is a comparison with the original BG on the left. I added many details and wish you enjoy it:)

Wow now that's what I call some epic work. Good job. Although the lines within the nebular in that whitish sector are weird and yet still cool. Perhaps supposed to be some of those resource strings HW1 used to have in that level?
These sturcture is my approach to create a "sanctuary" like feeling. I was trying to deliver the sense of "the core area and sanctuary" of the holy Garden of Kadesh. It's somehow alike to these huge abstract sturctures in some of the HW2 BG(e.g. Tanis and Karos).
