**8/6/2011** v1.2 released!
Alternative Project: FX - Commander
---
Introduction
Homeworld 2: FX - Empires is an upcoming new project by 9ccN that is an alternative continuation of the FX project.
Through bypassing the limitations of the Homeworld2 Source Code, prepare for a gaming experience you have never seen in any of the Homeworld Series. Nothing is the way they used to be; you will need to sharpen your insight and practise your tactical abilities for victory rather than just spamming units.
This modification is still in its early stages. Please support the team and help Empires grow into something nice by posting suggestions, reporting bugs etc. at the Forum and spreading the word.
Information
Latest Version: v1.2
Released on: 11th April 2011
Notes: Second patch for official release.

- A brand new gameplay system. Constructions, Skills, Resources; nothing will be the way you are used to it. Prepare for an unique experience that will bring out your tactical insight!
- Redesigned User Interface & Skills Tree window.
- Addition of Metal and Energy resources and unit support.
- Next to the Hiigaran and Vaygr, the other races of the Homeworld Universe will make their appearance.
- New in-game soundtracks.
Greetings everyone, my name is Bromly and I will leave my full introductions and explanations for you to read HERE, so I will make this brief.
~ NEW MANAGEMENT ~
Wildheart the manager of the FX Moddb pages has been inactive for a rather very long time and as such FX Empire hasn't been updated with any content. I've since recently taken over managing the Moddb pages to keep you guys updated as best I can, however since I'm actually the Official English Community Web Technician I can't really offer any great details into the mod itself. Regardless I will attempt to keep the Moddb profile as update to date as I can.
~ NEW RELEASES ~
I'm sure you're wondering, what's happened? Are there no more releases? Is the mod dead? Well I'm here to give you not one but TWO minor releases, and to inform you the mod isn't dead. Life matters have simply befallen the modding team like any other so development has been slow.
Now while there are technically two releases, you only need to grab the latest version (1.2) as I have uploaded 1.1 simply as a reference and archive. But since it really is two releases since this page was last updated I'll just leave it at that.
Regards,
Admiral Bromly

Mhm I Am Reporting a bug, For me the buttons and the ship's images are blank (white square): I see the ships but i can't see the building image like its just a white square the move orders and etc are blank square too and the ships when you select them like a group you should be seeing a small picture of the ship but i don't,a white square, not sure but can't save also
If you could take a screenshot and submit it to the forum, along with your system specifications that would be splendid.
Whats the forum's link? and where will i put the screenshot and the system specification?, and how do i find the system specification? and ok i will
The forum link is right up top of this pages description, (hwfx.divine-serenity.net).
You'll need to post it in the FX Empire Technical support forum since it sounds like a local issue rather than a bug.
To get your system specifications you can Google Speccy from Piriform, which is a free tool that will give you details about your computers specifications.
So... Company of Heroes interface with Homeworld ships..? Not sure they were meant to mix, but, eh...
Also feels off in general. Beautiful backgrounds, but I think that's about all it has. Especially perplexing is how Edit Profile no longer lets you customize your color schemes, and that even if you could, it doesn't change the in-game colors anyway.
Eh, can't play co-op with my friends, anyway, it seems, so whatever.
The HW2: FX mods are quite strange
Fun but strange in a way
This is a strange mod. It doesnt quite feel... right?
Well I enjoyed the Beta .6 Testing this as soon as my DL finishes :D!
Cheers on finally a new release. :D
Well it's pretty :D But honestly gameplay is difficult... I feel like i'm missing a lot with out my side bar etc. >.>
Also you guys need a major overhaul on grammar.
Great mod, for something "new" but it's essentially vanilla homeworld 2 (with homeworld races) done in a Company of Heroes Light... it doesn't work well. At all. Though that's only my opinion!
Have fun with this mod!
