Description

I decided to replace the old model skin of the first Matilda MkII by a more historically accurate model, with the right colors and patterns.

For infos the blue paint diplayed on most British Matildas tanks on the net is wrong, even the Bovington tank museum or some model kits companies made this mistake using a "clear blue" paint on Matildas instead of navy silver gray, this light blue color in fact never existed.

During the WWII north african campaign, the British 8th army used for their Matildas a "silver gray" "disruptive" navy color with 3 or 4 others colors, the tank base color was the Yellow sand (Light Stone N°61), the first "disruptive" color located in the middle was the navy silver (B.S.C. N°34 Slate), the second "disruptive" color applied on the top of Matildas were Dark brown (S.C.C.N°1A) or Dark Green (B.S.C. N°23 Khaki Green), in some cases, those colors were replaced by the dark blue black (S.C.C.N°14 Blue Black).
