ZDoom has been the original source port of Hyugaren for about a whole year. However, due to critical performance issues, a migration took place. Now the mod make use of GZDoom 1.8.02.
This change bought some graphic differences that need adaptation, most importantly because HESK took advantage of the limited, original colour palette. This is more noticeable in Hyperskybox and Hyperliquid features, which are being completely reworked.
In compensation, FPS are now noticeably smooth, illumination is more complex, graphics display at full color, and shader effects are being under observation for inclusion. The result it's a boost in both immersion and performance.
I hope no one gets affected by this. This change was highly necessary, as sometimes the FPS with software rendering dropped to 15-16. This is no way to enjoy a mod.

The quality is definitely there and those textures look amazing. I must also say that I love the zombie sprite, it look so terrifying!

Those interiors textures (Concrete) are originally from S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but I plan to modify them as I did with Doom ones (Metal textures and exteriors floor).
About the Zombies: They have also new and more sounds too!
