SUMMARY
Hellenika is a total overhaul of the Wrath of Sparta campaign. It combines stunning and historical visuals with campaign mechanics never seen before. Nearly every aspect of the vanilla game has been redone for both Greeks and Persians with astonishing detail. Thanks to a dedicated team this mod has been created with the purpose to give you an immersive and completely fresh-new gaming experience.
OUR AIM
This mod has been created with 2 targets in mind.
1 ) The absolute devotion to historic authenticity. We did not use any “what if scenarios” or fantasy units and whenever we faced a design dilemma between making the game follow historical facts or being “game play friendly” or “mainstream” we chose the path of history. Every gameplay or visual decision was taken after confirmation in historical textbooks and each one’s personal research .
2 ) “Force” the player to use his strategic skills and bombard him with dilemmas. In every decision there are pros and cons and hopefully this is an element to increase replay ability.

In Hellenika we have created a system in order Historic characters come into play with their original historic uniforms and equipment and at the exact dates. In order to achieve this we needed to make those characters spawn into certain map coordinates. Unfortunately if those coordinates are occupyied by another agent or force this conflict can cause a crash. These crashes are usually rather rare but if they appear then they may happen during Ai turn and make you unable to proceed with your campaign. If you experience such an issue using this submod will stop those characters from spawning and will allow you to continue your game.
Since those historic characters increase the immersion factor of the game we advice to use this submod only if at some point you face some sort of crash in Hellenika campaign. Player is adviced that if such a crash happens to enable this submod, pass the turn in which he faced the crash and then again disable it in order to re enable characters from appearing. Alternatively you may keep this submod always on. In this case you will stop every crash from happening but you will loose famous characters like Alkibiadis, Epaminondas, Agisilaos and many other famous Spartan Kings with their original shield emblems and uniforms.

CHANGE LOG OF NEWEST VERSION
- Strengthened the casualties system (now your starting troops pool will be depleted more often, especially in late games ,so plan ahead and develop your reserve troops)
- increased a bit the stats for Sparta and other elite units like some Boiotian or Athenian
- considerably nerfed Ai's bonuses to morale because in some cases they were multiplying to very OP numbers
- Added the Argive truce script. When you are not playing as Argos it will remain neutral until 420 BC as in history (very important for the Spartan campaign)
- increased the recruitment time of some special units
- reduced the siege time for some capitals
- removed the boiling oil ability of gates
- added the planned expedition for Akarnania when you play as Sparta
- fixed a small bug in Calias peace

Πραγματικα δινει το ρεαλισμο και την ενταση των αρχαιων αυτων εποχων σκληρης παλης μεταξυ των πολεμιστων,εως και των διαφορετικων προτυπων της καθε περιοχης.Υπαρχει τοσο εντονη διαφορα μεταξυ των πολεμιστων απο διαφορετικες αρχαιες πανοπλοιες και διαφορων τυπου αρχαιας περικεφαλαιας οπλων και ασπιδες απο διαφορετικα μεταλλα και αναπαραστασεις πανω τους μεχρι διαφορετικοι σωματοτυποι και προσωπα!!! Πραγματικα ηταν οτι ελλειπε απο το emperor edition 2.20 .Εισαστε φοβεροι καλλιτεχνες.Μπραβο σας και παλι μπραβο!!!
Ευχομαι να γυρισετε πισω να το συνεχισετε και να δουμε επιτελους και μοναδες εκτος των οπλιτων που να χειριζονται τα ξιφη τους και τα μαχαιρια και τοτε οι μαχες θα ναι πιο αιματηρες και σκληρες !!!

From wich patch I cant play Hellenika?
I've tried to play with Rise of the republic and with emperor edition vr.2.30 etc.., but I cound't stand up the many nonecompatible mods.Hellenika I think it is playable with patch 17 only,and you must have WoS DLC,but I never understood the patches in rome 2 game.. so I only offer you this and only this which it have any important DLC(of course Blood and Gore and WoS)that you want and thanks to it you have the opportunity to play old and newer mods especialy Hellenika ,so try this!

No problem my friend I'm glad to help other people when they need it, like they did to me and now I have rome 2 in the best vr I could have!!!
Not bother me so much the new vrs of the game ,or new updated mods like DEI in patch 18 and up or the gods of war and other new or updated mods because I tested them with new rome 2 vrs and there is no need to have them if I can't play serious and epic mods and feel the battle in my skin...CA it is pretty clear that don't want to update in a good way the game any more.So thanks to many great team modders and thanks to that video I posted before,guys like you and me, we have a very great ancient rome 2 battle times ;)
So ,yeah try this and for good and worst like my people use to say here keep an your antivirus open but mine din't showed none warning so try this ,read others comments bellow and test it ..I have it a year now and it is awesome day after day when I search new interesting mods ;)
Hi i need help i have emperor edition R2 i download both No steam and steam files
i use Michi MODManager i also try with Hex Editor i try everything but nothing seems to work version of game its v2.2.0.15666 it looks starting in loading screen and after some seconds (i see arrow of windows) windows trys finde what goes wrong and application closing.Plzz help
