Hegemonia City States is a complete modification of Rome: Total War based on BI. The mod is dedicated to Hellenic history and the wars of the Hellenic people from late 6th century to the Peloponnesian Wars.
Description
This is last version of Hegemonia City States. Launch the installer and install it into "Rome - Total War/BI". The shorcut that the installer has created automatically in your desktop doesn't work. You will have to create a new shorcut of RTW-BI.exe. Then, right-click on it and click on "Properties". Add " -mod:bi/hcs -show_err -nm" in the target line, then click "Ok". Use this new shortcut to launch the mod.

Annoying if you don't know how to fix it.
You need to right click on the shortcut and click 'properties'.
Inside 'Target' you need to change it to read...
"C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:bi/hcs -show_err -nm
or wherever you installed the game.
(if you don't know look in the box 'Start in')
'Start in' box will also need to be changed
For example mines;
"G:\Games\TW Rome Gold\BI\hcs\data"
Change to;
"G:\Games\TW Rome Gold"
Yours may be;
"C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\BI\hcs\data"
Change to;
"C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War"
If you have done something wrong windows will tell you it cant find the shortcut.
I tried doing as you said, and it almost worked, but it froze on the screen, like the screen that has the statue and w.e..Idk how to describe it. Not sure if you'd read this, or anyone else, but, what excatly am I supposed to do? :/

The shortcut created automatically by the installer doesn't work. Read this : Moddb.com
Change the destiny of the .exe, just go to properties and delete the part of the notepad with the credits.

Saving problems;
If you open a campaign game and then exit and start another campaign game you will not be able to save the game. I believe this has something to do with the running game scripts.
However if you exit the game all the way to the desktop and restart the game saving and loading will be working again.
Might try and press escape and check the 'save' and 'load' buttons aren't greyed out before you continue on with a campaign game.
when I want to start a new campaign the game fail and turns me back to the HCS main menu, can someone help me?

I dont get what I´m supossed to do, I´ve tried everything and it seems like I havent install anyithing at all :C
