Things are progressing quickly as we draw ever closer to a release. When you ask? Well we certainly hope this year for sure, but other than that it gets hard to pin point a time that we can be held accountable. But its better than saying "When its done".
Beta testing has been producing a lot of map bugs that would not have surfaced without the fine toothed combs of our dedicated testers. While there is nothing major, these small bugs would have probably built up on the player and that would not have done us any good. These small bugs are texture misalignments, holes through the walls that players can climb up to and other small details that after you played a map a few hundred times, you lose track, hence why fresh eyes are needed. We are also working hard to finalize the features that we have planned for HOE: NE such as implementing a note system that allows you to recall the documents you find and read for future reference. This way, information that is given to you can be read at your own pace and not clutter the screen. There will be a button that brings up a menu and you can select what article you want to read, rather than the old system which streamed the text in front of the player.
"dedicated testers" That'd be me .
You better believe its you!
