German winter masked character gets new random faces plus new CoD3 winter cloth helmets.
These helmets are not suitable for CD2 faces, the heads in some animations go beyond the helmet.
BogdanKry; That happens with the stock hats and helmets too. If we didn't use models simply because they clipped a little bit, we wouldn't have much new content at all. The trick is to match the helmets with heads that will fit the helmet.
If you didn't know this, there is a limit to the amount of models CoD2 can handle. This is a huge problem with CoD2. But after all, CoD2 is over 15 years old so it's a wonder that we have as much as we do. All of the hats and helmets can be made to fit the characters, but at the cost of going over the limit of what the game can handle.
For example:
To get a helmet to fit all of the characters in the game, you would need around 5 identical helmets in different sizes in order to fit all of the different characters because it's not one size fits all. But then you would have 5 fitting helmets, but you would have to get rid of 5 other models in order for the helmets to fit into the game without going over the limit.
So it comes down to this... What's more important, helmets that fit perfectly, or having other additional content like character models, damaged character models, weapon models, vehicle models and so on.
So I think that the vast majority of people would choose to have additional models rather than to have 5 identical helmets so that they can fit perfectly.
And besides... In the heat of battle, your not going to notice a little clipping because you're going to be too busy trying to stay alive.
Well yes, there are about 5 faces for these helmets from CD2. How does this head look normal in the photo. These helmets are generally weird in the middle there is a line in the texture and the helmet looks ugly divided into two parts. Bad helmets.
BogdanKry; I strongly disagree. That head looks great in this helmet. And that line in the texture that you are complaining about is a seam in the fabric, not a flaw in the helmet.
You realize the guy you're fighting against is not going to be standing still so that you can inspect his gear just before you kill him don't you?
In HCTM2 these guys fight ferociously. They do flips, roll over, dodge, go prone and just about anything else you can imagine. When you face these guys, the last thing you're going to be thinking about is how the...

When I say these guys fight ferociously in HCTM2, I'm not kidding. Trust me, you won't have time to inspect these guys while you're fighting against them. It will be all you can do to keep from getting killed.
When you’re fighting these guys, you won't even notice the things you are complaining about.
So while you’re busy trying to inspect them, they'll be busy killing you. lol
Seriously, do not invent, you contradict yourself. Do you want to say that detail and neatness are not important to you?
