In this single player level for Half-Life 2, Gordon Freeman (the player) finds himself on the sea shore with a terrible hangover. He is surrounded by empty beer bottles a few Headcrab corpses and a bicycle. Does not remember anything about how he got there or what happened there and the night before. Sets off to find out and as usual gets into a bunch of “fun” activities along the way.

FINNALY someone taking advantage of the cinematic "physics"

So far it looks good, only thing i could point out is that things don't break into flat pieces. But i don't know if is just a side affect of using this style of "physics" so its just a thought.

There are no “side effect” involved when using reactor to simulate pieces flying apart. Every piece you see is broken up manually from the original level BSP by using low-poly modeling methods inside 3ds max..

I didn't shoot any reference material for this as I don't happen to have a spare wooden shack lying around, but thought that such a thing that is built from planks of wood and boards of metal as the roof would break into flat pieces.

It's a bit hard to see, but there are some concrete chunks too that “break” off the base of the building.

Thanks for the constructive critique!
