Wait i could of sworn the refeit was the closer one which is the one keyes used in the original halo o.O
Nope, there is the telltale marathon symbol that looks like a spy-glass inside a white circle toward the forward middle part of the farther ship that was on the original in the game.
but in the books captain keyes has a refitted halcyon class cruiser. It is able to fire 3 macs in a single charge has more archer missles and even more effect engine.
Though that is true that in the books it says it is a refit, I'm going by the opening scene in the first game, not by the books. Plus if we went by the books, half the things that happen in the games are wrong. Also, why wouldn't it be possible to have a refitted version of a refit? :/

also the Pillar was refitted twice because it was originally meant for colonization pre-covenant war and at the start of the human-covenant war it was refitted for combat then when the Spartans received their special mission it was refitted for them as it was to be their base of operations so yeah refitted twice before it crashed on installation-04 poor keyes part of a grave mind

I don't pick rabid womanizers with mob ties that steal elections as personal heroes. And the Bay of Pigs debacle not only failed in its objective but actually solidified Castro's rule. Kennedy is fondly remembered because he made some nice speeches (particularly the one about putting a man on the moon), not unlike peoples ******** perception of Reagan, and then got assassinated, so he was able to go down in history as a hero of the people, even though he was anything but. And, as ChaoticNeutral points out, he wasn't the one who saved the world from becoming a giant mushroom cloud. But it makes a nice, simple story to say he did.

The pirates/militia is the Flood. From what I've heard there is also an Insurrectionist faction that's unplayable that will be added later.
Pirates are flood. Miltia forces vary with the type of planet in terms of whether they are Insurrectionist, Covenant Heretics, or localized Forerunners.
Are the Forerunners going to have the best ships and weapons?
Or are you just going to have everything balanced out?
They are the best faction in terms of everything except for the fact that it takes forever to research stuf and build stuff with them. They are an unstoppable late-game faction.
