Oh!) Twin ODP!!! It seems, in this version of the mod, it is missing. But I, I think, seen his model here. Long time ago seen. It looks very cool!
I can be mistaken. in guesses, but probably the Super ODP was then not finished. Or not...
In any case, it will be good if he appears in the game in the near future. UNSC come in handy additional firepower!

(Sorry for possible errors)

Glad to see this returning alongside its standard ODP cousin, now the only question is what are the tradeoffs going to be.

Very curious about how this is going to work. ODPs are already incredibly vicious against normal ships and entirely worthless if the Covies bring a DOS; I don't see what difference a bigger ODP is supposed to make.

My guess is this one will have a faster rate of fire due to the dual barrels allowing it fire more shells, with less damage of course for the sake of balance. The idea is this will drain the shields while the original ODP will fire the rounds that kill the ship, due to their higher damage. However, orbital platforms are not designed to stop the enemy fleet its suppose to delay them until additional ships show up, of course, if you have an Anchor station with fighters the chances of your defense with just stations alone increase dramatically, but still, you need to have a fleet support your orbital defenses. Its the same with vanilla sins Battlestations and orbital weapons are useless as they are designed to delay the enemy fleet not stop them entirely.

Just a thought but will the forerunners play very defensive thanks to their long war with the flood, if they come into the game?

Forerunners should probably be exeedingly expensive, powerfull, and few in number, so they would need some good static defence. Maybe a uber sentinel platform or something

Cool idea. The idea of the Forerunners is the sentinels are numerous and varyingly weak and the manned capital ships are very few and powerful.

The fore runners didnt fight very long, in fact their defenses were pretty bad which is why mendicant bias was able to kill them so quickly, i think their powers would be better in the fleets which is where they did so much of their damage vs the humans who were able to protect their capital for 50 years against unending hordes of both flood and then the fore runners

then again... mendicant bias also knew everything about Forerunner weaponry so he knew the inherent weaknesses.
