At least the plasma beam looks like it's coming out of the right turret mount on that Cruiser... Been a lot of controversy as to where they came from till Halo 2, and Halo Legends came out... Then all that was increased and/or relieved among a lot of Halo's fans...
That is a pulse lazer being fired at that transport.
For me, it is to similar to the Covenant win picture
A UNSC defeat, is a Covenant win.
And if the UNSC loose against the Flood?
Sins has no mechanic for it to determine the faction of the person destroying you (especially so for the Flood since the game doesn't expect the pirates to beat you.). Sorry man, we've gotta work with what we're given. You have no idea how much we wish we could stick our hands into the hardcoded elements of the game.
You guys should piece together one just as a fan piece. I think itd be cool.

I know that and I'm a huge Fan of your Mod and play it since entrenchment. You and your guys made great work and the pictures are good.
But I think the win and defeat pictures could be a little bit more neutral.
