A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
High Charity, the seat of the Prophet's absolute authority and the central production hub of the Covenant, serves as the mobile capital of the Covenant's mighty empire. Guarded at all times by the Second fleet of Homogeneous Clarity, and filled with millions of soldiers, High Charity is the most protected planet in the empire. Which comes at no surprise given it's infamy and status to the people of the Covenant.
Credits to Lord_Set for this fantastic piece of work.
hmmm so is High Charity a forerunner mega structure? i dont know much about it :P
no, it was built around a piece of the san shyuum home world by the covenant.
Isn't it built around an ark?
Nope, half a planet and the rest is Covenant technology.
It was built around a Keyship, or Dreadnought as the Covenant called it, and a piece of Janjur Qom (the San'Shyuum homeworld).
like @Crisiss23 said. and in ther lore, there were only ever 2 arks, the alpha and the beta, the beta was the larger out of the 2
the ark you see in halo 3 is the alpha, the beta was destroyed in the final stand of the forerunners on the 4th time a ring had been dedinated.
"dedinated"
Actually the one destroyed was the Greater Ark.

such a tradjedy
There are those who said this day would never come, what are they to say now?
Wort, wort, wort.
Long Live The Geth!
I cant wait to take a Infinty Warship and put it up against this.
Uh...maybe you have a higher opinion of Infinity than I do, but I've always viewed the Infinity as the UNSC's counterpart to the Assault carrier (at least in terms of combat capability). High Charity would rip anything less than a CSO-class Plot Device to pieces in short order.
Should've showcased it next to a broken "Sacred Ring"
So is it a planet type? A station (starbase)?
Homeworld model replacement.
But in the picture it's next to a planet. So does that mean it CAN move around?
No. This is an image from testing the model. It's us playing with the thing in the engine and seeing if it looks right.
For map building purposes it's likely there'll be a few different version of this, like it being the planet, or orbiting another planet, but overall this won't be a ship or station for the purposes of the game.
That's exactly how I personally prefer it :)
Any chance this'll be in the next release(update)?
Finally, a homeworld that can defend itself. I'll just sit back and watch my enemies die trying to attack it.
It should appear in the capital planet, even when you move your capital to another world. in other words it moves to whatever the home planet is.
