Australia gets no love... We had an alien mothership over Sydney in ID4, get nearly wiped out in Halo and I'm pretty sure we get a mention in ME3 too... But we have koalas and kangaroos and emus...and taipans, and funnel web spiders and irukandji. Oh, and Drop-Bears... It's perfectly safe...
