Looking awesome!!!! But in my opinion the infinity is too white compared to all the other human ships. Maybe it is just me, but I would make it darker:
Ship color hue continuity makes a mod feel much more like a game. :) And vice versa. The color difference between a covenant destroyer and the rest of the covenant fleet that our friends at Ensemble came up with has always bugged me to no end.
Absolutely agree with that. That has bothered me too, I think the covenant destroyer textures should be different in this mod, more similar to the other ships. I really think every faction should keep a unique color scheme for almost if not all their ships. For that the Infinity should be darker too.
I suppose the alloys used to construct the ships could be different colors, the Infinity is a much newer ship than a Paris class after all. But it would certainly be more pleasing to the eye if it fell more in line with the other ships.
That could be a posibility, but Thats Why i posted a video link in the First comment that shows the infinity with a human fleet on its side, guess what? Even though its a newer ship, the hull materials and color scheme look the same. I like how some parts of the thermopylae have different dark colors in each part of its hull, would love to see something similar with the infinity.
The first thing that came to mind when i saw this."We're gonna need a bigger boat". This is spectacular and keep up the good work but i'm wondering, can you put in a covenant super carrier?. It might be a bit much since its 20 kilometers long but i'm just curious if it is even possible?.
They tried it in the playtester version and it completely broke the game. They also will never put it in because all Bungie did was scale up the CAS Assault Carrier model and label it a new ship. It will never be in the mod. Ever. They've stated this hundreds, no, thousands of times.
Will we be able to deploy these from the Infinity's belly?
