A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
Our resident gravemind, VDNKh, has been working on a better texture for the Flood worlds. See if you can tell what's going on here.
(This isn't the final version, but it's so interesting I couldn't help but share it with you lovely folks.)
cool :) shield world under flood control
HALO WARS THROW BACKK!!K!!!K!!...But yes Flood control of an unlucky shield world that just didnt get cleansed by Halo.
Well, this is new... and scary.
This the new texture for the flood worlds ?
QUESTION FOR THE DEVS: Is there any way to change the type of planet that a planet is during the game with an ability? If so, then there could be a world that the UNSC own and a Covenant player takes it but it is a burden, so they glass it? Also I think Constraint Field should be one of the Approach's abilities if that is allowed by lore. Just a thought you can ignore me if you like.
why would the covenant (in the mod,not lore) glass a planet that could overall help speed up their economy? especially since their economy is weaker then the unsc.

Yo that's scary as ****.
I like the eerie silence of the current Flood world, but this looks frightening in it's own way.
I like it.
Oh god, the Flood scare the **** outta me. Deploy the Infinity!
Can it be set up so that UNSC capital ships nuke planets? cause then I'd feel say attacking this place.
That's the only way to be sure...
ALWAYS nuke it from orbit.
Great texture. The current flood world looked like a greenhouse clone. At least this one looks like you could reterraform it after glassing or nuking the flood out of it. It looks nice. However, I don't like the idea of the shield world being under the flood biomass. None of it should be visible. Why would the flood cover a shield world with a metal exterior with biomass, and a river with a lake? I'd have given them something that resembles the one seen in Halo Wars, because it's the only one we've seen that has that level of flood coverage.
The idea is that after tens of thousands of years of Flood domination, the Shield World's maintenance sentinels, AI, and systems are on their last legs holding the world together.
