Right off the bat, the Covenant threw a lone Reverence-class at me.
However with the Orion (and a full complement of smaller ships), the world survived.

An excellent model, especially considering its scratch made. You should try to expand the frigate and cruiser ship base as well, seeing as you made such a masterpiece, might as well expand upon it :)

aren't the missile trails overdone just a tad bit? Maybe more smokey than just a beam of light?

Uh, no, cause smoke isn't really visible in space. Nor does it behave like smoke normally does. It doesn't trail out behind the missile, it just kinda piles up on the missile until it is dispersed.
whats with the change in resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x768? new monitor?

I'd love overpowering the Covenant with Marathons, Frigates and Destroyers... maybe a couple carriers to boot.
