How large is this ship compared to the rest of the fleet? Because to my understanding, this was supposed to be able to hold at least 4 frigates in drydock.

Ours is a little bigger than canon. Each bay on the side holds a cruiser.

I'd hate to be a stick in the terminology mud, but if it's outside the repair craft, then it is wetdock. Dry dock involves being inside.

Regardless, I love the model. I couldn't get it out of my head that the Cradle was just a giant cube... lol

You were right but no one cares because they think drydock sounds cooler. Life explained.

So how much damage can she take?

Where did you get the Idea for the ship design. I always pictured the cradle as a flying waffle.

I remember reading about this massive thing in The Fall Of Reach. It's really similar to what I imagined it to be, being blasted by a wall of plasma torpedoes. So sad. :(

Description

Here's a few renders about the Cradle, the UNSC's mobile repair station. It's one of the most useful ships to have in a fleet, thanks to the suite of passive and activated repair buffs. It is, however, totally unarmed.

Also, about last night:
There were obviously some problems getting the beta out and with only the intended content being released. That being said, if you can be patient and let us sort out a stable UNSC beta, it WILL be available this weekend. You have my apologies, guys. No one wants this damn thing out more than I do.
