It feels like so long ago that we had the previous release. You guys have come a long way, and these pictures really show it. I am beyond impressed, and I cant wait to play this mod with the new changes.

Yeah I think we haven't released in over 2 years and last year I wanted to do one but just couldn't put one together. In this release UNSC will be 90% done and I say 90% because I don't think I'll ever be satisfied. :P But one thing unique with this version will be the inclusion of the Covenant preview. They won't be finished but they will be playable.

And that is why you are such a good developer, you continuously see ways in which your mod can be improved. Sweet! Needless to say I have been really looking forward to the covenant, even in a non-finished state. If the assets you contributed to the Sins sister mod are a tell to anything, we are in for quite a treat. :)

Never thought HW2 could run this type of high poly model O_O

Think of it this way: the bare mesh itself is around 12K which id comparable to the Hiigaran mothership. All the antennas, girders, beams, and t tree rest of the extra detail mesh is there up close where it would be like five ships at once, but when zoomed out all that stuff fades away. You can only build one if these in all population settings except max, which is two. Performance so far has been normal so far.

Well majority of the model poly count are goblins and then the base mesh has four LODs.

Description

The Gantry serves as the large capital production station. Its main goal is the creation and upkeep of the Anchor Program's heavy hitters. Although the station is largely automated, the facility is host to an abundant amount of EVA construction workers, scientists and fleet personnel. At its peak, the Gantry platform can support six different modular subsystems, unlike the Anchor platform at four.

This station pushes the 50k poly boundary, but the large station mesh itself is only around 14k, which is where the cruisers are at. A lot of the detail disappears when zoomed out so performance is not affected, but up close I've been told it looks beautiful.

Don't forget to vote! Now that all the station platforms are finished, there may be a release imminent!
