Do I spy three fully-implemented Covenant ships there?

Light effects on their hulls are really good for a 2003 game.

Never seen these ships before, what do you call them? Is it from the novels or the comics? All Covie ships in the game were nearly identical, the CCS and a bigger looking variant and the Carrier and Supercarriers lol

Description

This image dump is long time coming, but I promised Uni not to spoil the CCS until they had their fun at SOTP. The reason the detail shots of the Omen and LRM are in there is because I updated their textures to be more in line with my finalized style I had done with the CCS. Those goofy component looking areas with all the pipes and junk are gone now and replaced with a better looking style to represent the elegance and destructiveness of the Covenant.

As a side note, this is a map I've been working on recently. This map will be the place of the military memorial we were going to put in for Matt, who is courageously defending the United States of America in the Marines. Velo is working on some palettes for damage scars I'll be applying to ship textures to fill the battlefield with.

A bit of backstory for the map will be something along the lines of a farm world that is very popular for high ranking UNSC individuals to take vacations at. It's located in the outer colonies, but somewhat close to the inner colonies. The battle that took place here resulted in the defeat of every UNSC force at the cost of saving nearly every civilian, so a win in that regard. Already nicknamed the planet Eden, as it has two moons: one is a smaller, pinker moon called Eve and the larger, more beat up moon is called Adam. The map itself is very WIP and only has starting zones, still working on placing ships and debris.

So that's it. In the next few weeks, expect the ship graveyard in there somewhere with some cool action and ambient shots. Also in the following weeks, expect to see a Sangheilios map, as the Covenant wouldn't be anything without their most famous homeworld.

Speaking of which, since we're starting to actually flesh out a bare bones Covenant fleet, maybe there will be a release down the road at a later date? Can't say for certain, but maybe.
