Actually I did (UNSC), I had loads of reinforcements and I've gotten quite good at aiming MACs :D.
Are those plasma torpedoes, energy projectors or pulse lasers? My first guess is plasma torpedoes given how many shots are being fired and considering that those are Covvie destroyers, but they look a bit elongated........ also, are those the 50 mm autocannons or Archer missiles coming off of the UNSC frigates?

Ah. Alrighty, then. Thanks for the clarification. Just out of curiosity, what ships will have energy projectors, or is it not decided yet? I know that quite a few of the UNSC ships, especially the Marathon cruiser, got their armaments reworked to balance things out, and I can only imagine how unbalanced things would be if EVERY Covenant ship CCS class or larger ,with the sole exception of the destroyer, had at least one energy projector, never mind several (the Reverence class supercruisers had at least five, possibly seven).
Also (forgot to ask and by the time I remembered I couldn't edit), will the MAC and energy projector be abilities, or weapons that are just slow firing the the megacannon on the Aggressor Destroyer from the vanilla FOC game?
MACs will be an ability, and works quite well so far, the shooting times just vary a little bit each time.
And for energy projectors nothing had been decided. The Assault Cruiser once had two, but they worked as one and were quite annoying when used by the AI, so I removed them. Afaik none have been added since then.
Ah. Have you tried simply adding them on as an ability like the MAC, almost like the vanilla game's proton beam but with increased range? It's essentially the same weapon, and the power constraints made it impossible for even the Assault Carrier to fire only one at a time anyways. It would solve the problem with the AI, and would canonically explain why only one shot is fired at a time. On top of that, the bow projector was never really used during space combat - the positioning was too awkward since it faced downward, and the top mounted on had a much better angle of fire (every othe ship Destroyer/CCS class or larger except for the supercruiser and super carrier only had one, so those wouldn't be an issue anyways). Also, sorry if I'm giving unwanted or unneeded suggestions - I just kind of have the thoughts in my head at the moment, and if they're any help at all, which I'm not sure they are, I figure I might as well say them just in case.
Well, I at least have no intention of adding them to the mod, as the Covenant are already pwning enough imho. We may consider adding these abilities to the number-limited ships though, but giving them long recharge times. Note that the team may have another opinion
