"Even after just a few minutes of playing, it's obvious that the physics of Half-Life 2 offer a lot more to deathmatch than just flinging heavy items at each other. To be sure, hitting someone at close range with a dumpster or a file cabinet is probably an instant kill. But you'll quickly discover other nuances: if someone's carrying an explosive barrel, you can get an easy kill by shooting it from far range. If someone flings a heavy item at you, you can block it with the gravity gun, or even catch it in flight and fling it back. So it introduces a new dynamic to deathmatch -- do you rely on the gravity gun, or try to gain an edge using standard weapons?"

This isnt a mod, this is a Full Game. I dont have HL2 but i have HL2 Deathmatch. A Mod without a Full Game isnt a Mod...
hl2 is the original game. just because you might have payed seperate for css, doesnt mean its not a mod. look at garry's mod, hes going to charge for v10.
anyway, didnt mean to bring up css, but hl2 dm and css are mods. hl2 is the ACTUAL game they expanded everything from. without hl2, there would be NO css or hl2dm!
actually, they are all technically mods for the source engine. yes, counter strike was originally a mod for HALF LIFE 1, but css is its own game
what you talking about its not a Mod...just becasue you pay for it it still makes it a MOD of HL2

And also, what the hell is the point of this being in a mod section? It obviously seems to be just the normal deathmatch.
