Ok, I've managed to get to Act III, where a security guard rescues you, but I'm very stuck on where to go. I've tried interacting with doors leading the guard and scientist to wherever seemed like a place they could activate and breaking everything in sight, and I'm still stuck.

Lead the scientist down the stairs in the corridor where you found him. He'll go where he should by himself once he's went past stairs

It appears that the scripted sequence in your case is broken for some reason. Nothing like this happened during the tests :/. Try loading last save and just leading the scientist down the stairs. As soon as he starts walking by himself don't touch him.
Unfortunately I don't have my computer near me so I can't check if something is to be blamed on initial map. I'll check my map tomorrow, but for now that's all me and you can do

I restored the power, the elevator has lights on. I press the button, nothing happens (buzz sound). The guy in green can't enter the elevator. Something blocks it.

One minor thing. When I first met this guy in green, he was behind the door. I used him through the door and the door opened. Maybe I broke something with this.

So, you made the generator go "brrrr", storage doors opened, you used the guy in green and went in the elevator? If so, then everything must work and you just got unlucky...
And no the "minor thing" is unlikely to be the reason.
All I can say for now (as I don't have a computer near me) is just reloading from the last save should work...

Okay now this is funny. This time I never touched the guy. Elevator power restored, I go to elevator, press the button, exit the elevator and go into corridor. Suddenly the elevator door closes and the guy disappears. Next map loading and I spawn out of the map. :D

One more bug. So there's a big room with 3 zombies and a lift. There's also another green guy in the corridor. So go into this corridor, jump on the barrels, go to that dead end and I got "Level transition error - can't find connection to 22d from 11c". There's a trigger_changelevel located for some reason.

Kingpin. So first of all, it's unclear what to do here. There's a box on a wooden ledge to the left of the bridge. BEfore kingpin broke through, I jumped there. Now I'm stuck there and stll alive (unless I jump on the box and touch the trigger). The box also has explosion effect which does nothing though.

Alright, so first time I fell off to the zombies and the corridor with transclucent enemies. Next time I managed to jump right through it and skipped this section. Not sure if that was intended.
Looks like it wasn't because I just found the kingpin standing and doing nothing unless I touch him and die.

Next. You can jump to toolbox way before you activate the crane.

I'm now stuck in the trainyard. What do I do here? There's a traincart attached to a wagon. I opened the wagon through the door by pressing E on the back of the wagon. There are 2 medkits. I don't know where else to go. I assumed I need to move the wagon using traincart somehow, but it doesn't have any controls.

There's a fallen osprey, burning, some wreckage, grunts and controllers. Then I go through doubledoors after I killed them. And there are some wagons.

There's a wagon full of gravel or whatever in the very back of that big room you entered. It has a ladder climb up and do some platforming.

Alright, so I finished the mod. Great work! Just those few bugs to be fixed and it will be one of the "must play" mods for sure. One last bug I found. After the helicopter kills the Big Flying Thing, if you stand near the gate from where the scientist comes, the final script will never activate. You can go inside, open the double doors and fall out of the map.

Hey {bl]sha thanks for your reply.it seems my applications don't work. I've managed to get about 1/3 of the screen to start playing the beginning but it's unusable. Your instructions seem easy enough. I hate to seem so ignorant but I cant get the game started. Could you give me a answer or solution to try. Looking forward to playing it. Thanks Edward

So, you've got a problem with resolution, right? This is a well known problem on Xash. You should somehow manage to get to configuration section, press the video mode button and select one of the 4:3 resolutions

It's just me getting the error: couldn't find game directory "valve"? So I did a copy of my Xash3D's valve directory to this mod's directory and it's running well, for now.

The mod doesn't need valve directory :/. Did you put it into your HL folder? My mod is standalone and you don't need to put it into your Half-life folder, something may break if you do this

I did not put it on HL folder, I've only extracted the mod to my desktop and started the game with hl.exe.

I'M SORRY TO SAY THIS, BUT TO EVERYONE WHO'S SAYING THEY HAVE AN ISSUE WITH PLAYING THE MOD, I DO TOO, I CAN'T PLAY IT. THE SAME "VALVE DIRECTORY" ERROR POPS UP NO MATER WERE I PUT THE FOLDER (BE IT IN THE SOURCEMODS OR HALF-LIFE FOLDERS, OR ON THE DESKTOP), IT WON'T EVEN SHOW UP IN MY STEAM LIBRARY.

WHAT DO WE DO TO FIX THIS?

Regrettably, I too have suffered at the hands of the glitch where the Guy in Green runs to the elevator but does nothing. This is after turning on the power (the buzzing) and using the buttons in the elevator.

What's happening is that, for some reason, he can't seem to reach the correct trigger point - he tries, but keeps seeming to get stuck on something. Reloading my quicksaves doesn't work, and the last autosave was... WAY back in the previous map, so that's a fair bit of progress to lose.

It's possible to activate the console and jump to the next map (22c), but as you can imagine that's hardly ideal.

EDIT: Tried it again and didn't interact with the Guy in Green at all... and it worked! The elevator doors closed the second I entered it. Whether it was because I'd quit the game entirely or simply because I'd never tried to 'use' the Guy in Green this time round I can't say... but that might be something to look into?

Hi, I just downloaded the game, and ran xash.exe in the directory.
It brought up the menus, but there is no console available.
How can we get the console to work ?

I don't know why you made this mod so freaking dark, but it's almost
impossible to play; the flashlight is useless, I set the gamma to the
highest setting, to no avail.
When I get into the vent where the headcrabs come from, it won't
let me proceed, even though I'm constantly using wsad to shift around. I keep getting stuck.
Also, the flashlight only lasts a VERY short time, so I'm constantly
having to sit still and wait for it to recharge.
