You shall find no download links here this time but there is more to be found! Work on the next build continues steadily but slowly. As I've mentioned before I'm redoing all the terrain and there is plenty of it in the first two maps of Interloper. The good news is that I'm almost through those! Because this section has been really tedious work, I tend to work on models in between to keep myself from throwing my PC out of the window.
I've remade two iconic Half-Life weapons: the crossbow and the RPG.
Making a reappearance is the Chumtoad! I don't know why Valve decided to cut this cute little creature but I've taken some time to update its model and skin and it's ready to play its part in HL:Enriched. It will be used as an enviromental creature that is passive to the player, just like the cockroach. You can find it splashing around with its friends in underground caves.
To give you an idea of the scale of the work being done on 'Interloper', here's a topview of the current state of the second map. All the terrain has been redone and I'm currently in the process of adding more details and tweaking the lighting.
Lastly, I've just uploaded a new video containing a playthrough of the 8th chapter: Apprehension. It has received a bunch of updates that you'll be able to play in the upcoming alpha version!
About chumtoad, environmental creature as in like a monster_generic or did you add it as its own npc?
Currently it's a monster_generic but I'm planning to add code support for it so it can roam on its own.
That would be great.
