Keeps crashing. Won't let me start a new game, hard crashes when it goes to load in the first map and it does the same thing if I hit load game. I've tried starting it 4 times now but it keeps crashing to desktop without giving any reason as to why. Any ideas?
you got intel hd graphics? then thats why mod requires at least 2gb dedicated gpu or more as mod sometimes uses 2.5gb of vram or more watch this to know the min specs Youtube.com
That makes sense now. I'm not running the strongest system right now and this ordeal has happened before with another mod. No biggie fr. I figured it was something on my end. Thank you for your time actually answering with the solution and "Best of luck on your. . future endeavors."
This does not work. There is no ".exe" file to launch. The game menu opens when you launch the original hl2.exe. But it is impossible to start a new game; clicking on “start a new game” does not work. Whatever the author did there, I would like it to work, but the game does not work

I got this working ok...well, mostly. It's VERY buggy, dodgy map changes and you DO need to drag Alex and Eli with you for the most part or you'll get stuck and you need her especially to open doors for you. There are FAR too many battery puzzles and you'll need to keep going back and searching around to find them.I found I needed to 'noclip' a few times or do a manual map change...to be honest, without consulting You Tube for a walk-through I'd have had no chance as I was never sure if the problem was a bug or just me missing something. A frustrating few hours if it's a rainy day,but give it a go.
