Half-Life 25th Anniversary Challenges

A mod built by experienced HL players for experienced HL players.


2 different stories

  • Half-Life Original (OG) :: Original Game (with light entities modification to make the challenges possible).
  • Half-Late (HLa) :: Gordon missed the first train, which makes part of the story change (re-exploring and reconnecting some of Decay, Training, OP4, and Black Mesa levels).

5 different challenges

  • Crowbar-only challenge (OG + HLa) :: Beat the game with the crowbar only
  • Glock-only challenge (OG + HLa) :: Beat the game with the Glock only
  • 1HP-only challenge (OG-only) :: Beat the game with 1hp only (c1a0d HEV-suit room has been changed for a living room + arm-skin has changed for scientist suit.)
  • Realistic mode (OG + HLa) :: Weapon classes (like CS), drop system, realistic injuries and damage (slowing down when injured) + New skill tree associated with this mode.
  • Permadeath (OG + HLa) :: No save. You die, it's done.

We are still in early development and looking for experienced mappers to help us with the Half-Late storyline.

I just wanted to start by saying thanks for all the support. As you may have seen, the development of this mod has already started. I wanted to give you a few updates on the features that are currently being developed for each game mode.
