Cal: Cynical, Individualistic, rebellious, Cal is everything the combine don't want in a soldier and more. His law-bending antics in city 17 landed him with several reprimands, eventually leading to him being demoted and transferred to city 96. There he served as a beat cop, continuing his illicit activities, allowing him to gain a decent understanding of the local rebel presence, which of course he didn't reveal to his superiors. But with the successful insurrection in city 96, Cal has been granted unlimited freedom to do as he pleases. Fortunately, he's decided that its in his best interests to help you on your mission to rescue this "Important Individual". His street smarts and sketchy background grant him an uncanny ability to survive in hostile urban environments and worm his way out of the sticky situations he often gets himself in, which will prove invaluable on your mission.
Cal is a friendly AI here to help players who are playing solo or have a smaller group (1-3 players). But he will be fighting along side you regardless of the server's player count.
New lighting/time of day for the Crash Site maps. Now they take place in the early morning. The afternoon lighting will be used on maps from later in the mod, and time will progress with each map.
New Location! The Bunker!
The Bunker is the transition point between The Crash Site and City 96. You will have to traverse through the zombie-infested bomb shelter before emerging on the other side in the city. You've been lead here by a distress signal sent over the radio. Maybe there'll be a new friend you could meet along the way?
