Is the bloom effect on the fire something you specifically coded in or is it just a result of stacking additive sprites on top of each other? Either way it looks really good.
Bloom effect is coded, there's also some glow sprites around the fire.
Verry impressive SysOp..This looks allot like Call of Duty 4 but i never played it..The practicles just make the smoke look great..Anywho great job..

The mapping itself is pretty good actually, I like the geometry and everything, but the top of the buildings seem kind of bland, like they're just lacking roof-guards or some kind of extra detail.
But my real criticism is honestly? This lacks shadowing and depth, i don't expect you to model in every window or map every window in those buildings, but the map just seems very "dead" or "dry" and has no real shadows or depth overall, like the cars? Should be casting a small shadow. Those crates? Need shadows.
