Vector Prime is a Star Wars-themed modification to Haegemonia: The Solon Heritage. Its timeframe encompasses an era from the end of the old republic to the might of the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant. Playable "races" or factions are the Rebellion (later New Republic), the Galactic Empire, and another faction - pirates, civilians, bounty hunters and other indpenedent groups that have always had good influence on intergalactic politics. The modification also incorporates a random map generator, built into the game's launcher for easier functionality, unseen before in the Haegemonia series. From an extended galactic environment to the tactical mastery of the Jedi of the New Republic, you will find Vector Prime to be much more than just a simple graphics modification. Admiral, consider re-thinking your strategies before the next operation.

The new, updated version of the launcher includes a modified random map generator which is slower, but produces far more playable maps.

The new, updated version of the launcher that is available in the MU3 package should be available in the downloads section soon. As you might now, the launcher is not only a "launcher" as the name would tell you. It also includes a robust random map generator that will provide you with new maps to play on with the click of a button. This generator has been known to produce extremely problematic situations, with planets sometimes ending up on top of each other and asteroid fields and nebulae ending up too close to the sun, engulfing it. This version includes a number of improvements over the original that will allow you to generate actually playable random maps for Vector Prime.

Perhaps the most important addition is the handling of "exclusion zones". What this means is that when a certain type of object is placed (planets and suns), the generator notes the coordinates of its "neighbourhood". This will be defined as an exclusion zone, and some objects (nebulae and asteroid fields mostly) will not be allowed in this area. No more planets on top of each other and no more planets engulfed in thick asteroid fields.

The second addition is support for both TSH and VP. This means that you can just copy the generator into your TSH folder and have it generate TSH maps for you - if you happen to prefer TSH over VP. However, if you would like to use the extended space entities that you are provided with VP, you will be free to do so.

Please note that this version should be handled with care. The exclusion zones feature has GREATLY increased generation time, so please be patient during the process. Another important thing is that this version should be considered a testing version. TSH support has been extensively tested, but due to technical difficulties VP support is available on a "should work" basis. Support for the so far unreleased CC mod is not implemented in the launcher.
