This is disappointing news.
I understand this mod with Bannerlord could be one of the greatest total conversion mods of WH40k ever (to me); but this just seems unnecessary and kind of an annoying thing to hear.
One of my main gripes with this halt in production of the mod is the fact its being halted simply for a game that doesn't have a release date, and progress has already been made for Warband only to be halted by the pretty graphics and gameplay mechanics of Bannerlord.
It irritates me to come back and find only one update on progress for Grim Dawn;and find out that progress is cancelled because a sequel with no release date is coming out.
Progess has already been made on Warband, it doesn't have to be halted because a brand new game came out. You're essentially making people who anticipated for this to be released kind of lie in wait because a brand new game with new mechanics came out. I know it's cool and all to see that, but that doesn't mean progress should be stopped because this new shiny game came out and it'd be better on Bannerlord.
Grim Dawn has already made progress, and stopping the train to create this mod because people are building railway tracks to another game is a bit annoying and in some ways completely ludicrous; especially since no release date has been announced.
Even though you might not see this, even pay attention to it; which I hope you do. Please; don't delay the mods current progress. Go forward; and when Bannerlord comes out make a Bannerlord Version of Grim Dawn.
People have been waiting; and it feels a bit unfair to make them wait more. Like teasing them.
Hoping for you to reply.
I definitely understand why some would be upset with it, completely stopping a mod simply for the next game to come out and continue it on there. But at the same time we looked at the possibilities and the planned mechanics the mod could be so much bigger than we had any ideas of on warband, sorry for the inconvenience.
great idea in deep... but , all of mod based warhammmer 40k are dead , you have murder any hope in all fan of this licence , one more time ... and for bannerlord ... heeuu , maybe comming at 40 century him too ??? please , try to work a little more in this project ,for the player when dispair every time to see a warhammer 40k mod , bonus , you can use your model and (maybe) a part of the script code in the verywaiting bannerlord :) he will be not excellent , not full and certainly unstable ,
but you will have created something that many people were waiting for, and have a basis for the next .
a friend with wise counsel ;) good day and thank for watching this request
bannerlord or early access is out but no update of this mod are you guys still working on it?
Shame
This just seems sarcastic. Bannerlord desinitely won't be coming out soon, and this can mean that the mod will come out in like 2030
i dont think so
ahahahahahahahah
I love reading this joke! ;D
"We will continue the mod in Bannerlord" well then see you in 15 years
