So thats how you make a good sword? By casting it, cooling it in snow and then sharpening it with ..what was that? Piece of concrete rubble? lol That sword life expectancy is really low ..and they are just band of neanderthalians, why are they casting sword, axe head would do the work lot better and actually work

Funny, Gothic offers a closer-to-reality explanation of how swords are forged than this video, and it still misses some big details. Lindybeige on YouTube made a good video on why casting a sword in a mold would be a terrible idea.
