GMDX is an award-winning large-scale modification for the 2000 PC classic Deus Ex. GMDX addresses the many flaws of the game, polishes it to a very high standard, and adds new layers of depth that one would have hoped to see in a sequel. GMDX is executed with the strict parameter of staying true to the original design principles that define Deus Ex, and seeks to improve all aspects of design excluding the plot and soundtrack. The cumulative result thus far is said to be, and aims to be the "definitive Deus Ex experience".
Access to a medium sized level extension that was scrapped during GMDX's development for not quite meeting Deus Ex's standards of quality, as well as being outside of the mod's intended scope a little, even though it fills in dead space in the original level design. Restored at request of GMDX's beta testers.
This add-on should be compatible with any version of GMDX post-v9.0 release. It should also be compatible with any other add-on for GMDX that doesn't replace the same two maps. (09_NYC_Dockyard & 09_NYC_ShipFan).
To install, simply place the two map files in DeusEx\GMDXv9\Maps and overwrite when prompted.
To access the map, find a set of double doors near-ish to the large crane on the Naval Shipyard level.
