it doesn't work,, the readme file mentions a line of code that doesnt exist in the gfm folder, but still causes the crash event
It looks like the GFM devs added in a new like of code to disrupt the new version, I’ll make a more permanent solution soon, but for now, look in the GFM events folder, it’s in there, search “preparations_to_kill_lmao” and the file mentioned should be there. In that search for that same phrase and delete the whole thing and the mod will work fine.
I can't find “preparations_to_kill_lmao” in the GFM files. It still does the crash event. Could you please help

You would download this mod here, and then use it alongside GFM.
With it event 1488 should work fine, and the decision for it is locked behind a society tech

Pair of questions, i need to know if there's something with the code or i'm just a *******:
1) Should the genocide option pop up in the decisions tab? if yes, when and under what circumstances?
2) 50 infamy wtf (tried the 1488 event, it works)
Also i couldn't find the line of code inside the "V2ME Cleanup (GFM)"
1. You need Revolution and Counter revolution for it to appear. To actually use it you need a Absolute monarchy or some sort of dictatorship, reactionaries/communists/fascists in power, and some money.
2. Ya I thought that was way too much also, but I decided to leave it be, because I just wanted to transfer this event/decisions from HFM into GFM out of principle, I had seen many people asking for it and only snarky responses by the GFM devs.
Not sure what version of GFM you have, if it is one released prior to this mod being released, it won’t have that code, that code was added in specifically to target and break this mod.
Hovering over the decision "Remove head of state" a couple months after game start, with both files edited as required and both mods enabled, playing as the qajar empire, results in a crash to desktop.
The same thing with "nationalization of industry" on Portugal and other countries. I saw files and I think that file .../common/event_modifiers.txt breaks everything. However, (without/or with another one) event does not work, but the game does not crush.
Yeah, compared the GFM Genoicide mod and GFM's event_modifiers through text-compare(dott)com/, there are plenty of conflicting changes, no wonder game breaks when you enable those two.
imo it will be better to copy paste the necessary codes into the GFM event_modifiers rather than doing altogether everytime GFM gets updated?
