You are the last member of this alien species, and the AI that awoke you has informed you that you have been tasked with reconquering the galaxy. It's a good thing the station you're on doubles as a ship construction yard.

It appears the creator isn't working on this project any more, but I found another person that has made a plugin inspired by it. Here's a link on Github.com. I don't have any idea if it'll go any farther than where it is, but it's an option.
