Star Wars Empire is a total conversion for Valves Half Life 2 source engine. It will be a MMOFPSRPG (Massivly Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Role Playing Game). Unlike the traditional Star Wars games, Star Wars Empire will allow you to take any specific role you wish to play and live it out in a real time environment with other players. Most of the people you have seen in the Star wars saga or read in the books, Bounty Hunters, Commandos, Jedi, Smugglers and more will be pursuable through an extensively and never-before seen level aquistion chart. Also Star Wars Empire is bent on bringing unfound continuity unlike you have seen before. Our original timeline (right after battle of Yavin), has been changed to a time period between ESB and ROTJ to allow for greater technological useage and more leway towards the Galatic Civil War and what is going on durring it.
