Star Wars Empire is a total conversion for Valves Half Life 2 source engine. It will be a MMOFPSRPG (Massivly Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Role Playing Game). Unlike the traditional Star Wars games, Star Wars Empire will allow you to take any specific role you wish to play and live it out in a real time environment with other players. Most of the people you have seen in the Star wars saga or read in the books, Bounty Hunters, Commandos, Jedi, Smugglers and more will be pursuable through an extensively and never-before seen level aquistion chart. Also Star Wars Empire is bent on bringing unfound continuity unlike you have seen before. Our original timeline (right after battle of Yavin), has been changed to a time period between ESB and ROTJ to allow for greater technological useage and more leway towards the Galatic Civil War and what is going on durring it. Star Wars Empire is getting some big updates in the next few days. These updates include more information, screenies and even some in-game screenshots using the UT2K4 engine as a place holder until HL2 comes out, just to give you all a peek at what the game will be coming to.

Coming Updates- Additional starfighter models & starship information.
- Droid models & droid engineer profession information.
- PvP System, IIF System, economy systems explained.
- Unreal 2K4 in-game screenshots of SWE previews.

I hope you all like these updates that are coming very very soon. I should be getting one of them off the list tonight or tomorrow for everyone to see!

We are also trying to get the forums to become a place where we all can talk about SWE and its development so those who are interested please sign up on the forums becuase I'll start posting promotional stuff and information there.
