Since the 2020 Retail launch the 2011 release was renamed to: G STRING - BETA and in the future the G STRING - ULTIMATE EDITION is coming. Also don't be confused about the "Developer: LunchHouse Software" part. This is the G String Beta you are looking for, the one made by Eyaura. The display was changed because LunchHouse helped me a lot in publishing the game and this will help us both in promoting our work. Which reminds me: they're making PUNT! Go check it out! Since there is no way to list this on MODDB like on Steam (Developer: Eyaura, Publisher: LunchHouse Software) this is the best solution. Thanks and have fun!

Description

As the not too revealing screenshot shows the maps I am working on now are somewhat different from the earlier parts of the game. I am placing the dot on the I now as it were. Wrapping things up.

I want to maintain a high level of fidelity until the end. I always harp about how the ending is usually the weakest part of most games/movies so now it's my chance to try to remedy that.

It takes an incredible amount of effort to stop myself from rushing it and getting it out there. It's much harder now than before when there were long years ahead and so I just resigned myself to doing this. Now I want this out just as bad as you want to play it believe me. Eleven years... No joke.

But I want to get it right. I will only get one shot at this. It's sort of a once in a lifetime thing at this point.

I don't want to promise anything or give any reasons for speculation regarding release dates but:

A lot is done and there are no new ideas coming in. I am not just randomly adding things. I am finally implementing concepts that I wanted to implement years ago. I am also pushing the engine hard. I have cut a lot of fat, everything that is not vital has been cut.

Also so far whatever is done I am fairly happy with it... I hope it will be good enough. At least I did everything as best as I could with the time/abilities/resources that I have.

I have not cut anything important but as I decided not to go episodic or deliver anything in later updates this takes long.

I have chosen the hardest path.

But it is happening- at least I am going as fast as humanly possible.
