Would be cool if meele units locked in close comkbad ala Dawn of War.Tho i imagine that would take agreat deal of work with the animation so im not realy expecting to see it in EaW. But still the proper code is in there (Obi Wan vs Vader)

Nothing limits that to just heros, Petroglyph just decided not to make it for infantry. It requires a separate entry for each combination of units attacking each other, which means that for just EaW you'd need to make 84 for all the possible hero and infantry combinations, 7 Rebel infantry heros/infantry * 2 Pirate Infantry * 6 Empire infantry heros/infantry. It also doesn't allow for the units involved to take any sort of damage or attack any other units besides those in the heroclash. There are some 3-sided heroclashes, but that means a ridiculous amount of entries. FoC's mirror play and more infantry just makes it near impossible to implement. You may also notice that FoC doesn't have heroclashes for several hero on hero combinations, probably a good move by Petroglyph.
