Bugs are minor issues (e.g. texture displacements and glitches, units not building/launching properly, animation errors, mismatched texts etc.) that are annoying, but still allow gameplay.

Because of this this they are different from Technical Issues, which are severe errors (usually game crashes or freezes) that occur when trying to launch the game, during the loading of a map, and/or during gameplay itself. Technical issues will prevent gameplay. Technical issues can be reported here instead: Moddb.com

This thread is for reporting bugs. Please read the following first to see if your bug was already discovered:

Known Bugs (1.35a)

  • Bentusi AI is not finished yet, and should not be used by CPU players (exempted from "random race" option by default). Forcing a CPU player to use the Bentusi anyway may produce additional bugs such as the sensor view not working.
  • Kushan AI will not function optimal (race itself is fully playable, but balance work is ongoing).

Races/Units/Graphics/AI/etc.

  • Units that are hit after having been issued the auto-dock command (D) are sometimes immobilized.
  • [TAI] Research's Station Modules cannot be retired.
  • (Eden) Cancelling the opening cutscene too soon may cause the free Interceptor squadron to disappear.
  • (Eden) The Turanic Junkyard Dogs may idle after their first run if they successfully retrieve tanks.

Features/Text

  • [Music Player] Being in the Sensors Manager as the song changes causes the next song to be played at a lower volume.
  • [Music Player] Stopping and then hitting "play" on a song may cause it to not play at all (hotfix: wait a few seconds, then stop>play 1-2 more times)
  • [Music Player] Main menu BGM won't play if a game is forfeited via the "Return to menu" option.
  • [Music Player] The method to add your own songs to the music player (as seen here) currently doesn't work **NEW**

FX:Galaxy v1.3.0 - The Shimmering Path bug report part 2

-Taiidan Sensors Array you can only build one but in the unit list it show 1/6 cap
-Unit cap for each Race in Skirmish campaign - The shimmering path and Player VS CPU are different
-Progenitors unit list for Arbitrator show name as Demolisher
-Phase Prism special ability name in-game is Initlate delivery while in patch notes says Hyperspace Deliver
-Phase Prism trying to build units while special ability is active wont come out and have to wait to use special ability again Hyperspace Deliver
-Progenitor Keeper can enter into Phase Prism but comes out seconds later don't know if can do that in the first place
-Progenitor Heavy Mover cant enter into Phase Prism for repairs or use special ability Hyperspace Deliver


-Sphere formation your units dont surround enemy frigates or capital ships like in the vanilla homeworld just stay in a ball drive-by attacks

-Taiidan Defender wont do Sphere formation on your frigates or capital ships but only themselves, fighters and corvettes

-Kuskan command corvette cant dock with Kushan resource controller, Kushan support frigate, Taiidan resource controller, Taiidan support frigate

-Kushan multi-gun corvette has a slow reaction time from move to attack command

-Hiigaran still builds a Gunship in Bentusi Defense (PvC Only)

-In Bentusi Defense (PvC Only) they no scout units for all race and Hiigaran dont have platforms dont know if this was on purpose

-Turanic raiders Siege Drill Frigate capture F2 aggressive mode damage the enemy ship but after capture enemy ship get back full HP.

FX:Galaxy v1.3.5a

-Kuskan command corvette cant dock with Taiidan resource controller, Taiidan support frigate, Kushan maintenance depot, Kushan resource refinery
-Kushan Gravwell Generator on unit list show as Gravwell Generator 2/6 cap but goes up to max 2
-Kushan Gravwell Generator wont show it radius range
-Kushan multi-gun corvette have a slow reaction time from move to attack command
-Taiidan Sensors Array you can only build one but in the unit list it show 1/6 cap
-Hiigaran unit list cap show you can have 1/6 mothership
-Progenitor Keeper can enter into Phase Prism while special ability is active but comes out seconds later
-Progenitor unit list for Arbitrator show name as Demolisher
-Turanic raiders Siege Drill Frigate capture F2/F5 aggressive mode damage the enemy ship but after capture enemy ship gain some HP back
-Bentusi Defense (PvC Only) Hiigaran can still build Gunship
-Bentusi Defense (PvC Only) they no scout units for all race and Hiigaran dont have platforms dont know if this was on purpose
-Bentusi Defense (PvC Only) Taiidan cant build defender or defense fighter
-Bentusi Defense (PvC Only) Kuskan resource controller cant be build and probe can be made

-Kushan maintenance depot cant use repair corvette there no instruction in how to use them repair corvette just stand there waiting

-Progenitors Balcora gate is hard to hit for fighters and corvettes
