Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

The new MC80 Liberty Class cruiser is in game replacing our older, dated version from EvilleJedi. Sizer worked tirelessly on this project and we have in game with all the fixings. You also will notice something else in the video that sizer has worked on to revamp the visual aspect of the mod!
Very nice atmosphere, much more living this way! But I also like the very black setting with a few stars and the galaxy´s core far away, makes a lonely feeling which could happen when you are far away from realy everything. With variable star-densitys one could immediately see where on the radius of the galaxy he/she is!
Yup, that's the plan. We now have a few starspheres to show where abouts in the galaxy you are. As you get closer to the core, many stars. As you are further away, less so.
