Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

Actaully, it seems to be a good feature, cause you can create a "Trade Lane" or "Jumpgate" as it were, and have your wingmen fly with you on the player made "Trade Lane" or "Jumpgate". Also makes a good setup for escaping and loosing your pursuers, unless they're looking at the "Chat Window\", but even then and after entering the system, its impossible to determine the exact location of the ship that the pursuers were following. I like it alot :3

Amazing video, especially like the jump between systems. And yeah that blue thing is ugly but no one will really pay attention, you'll forget about it the moment you enter combat lol...

It will probably be toned down but I dont think it's ugly at all. It's also an important indicator that there is a jump point (other players can use them too).

Yep, it's especially useful for those who didn't make the in-system jump so they can easily select the buoy

I too like the blue jump-thingy. a little less bright in the "wall" kind of thing and instead some more of those ... uh ... flowing lines and it's perfect!
