Greetings, Defenders

The full version of Amber 2.0 is being released on ModDB today, the 18th of November! We are very excited to hear what our players have to say, and hope that the hours we spent working on the module have been worth it. Before downloading the module, please open up the description of the download page for information on how to properly install it, as well as how to become involved in the community (and share your feedback with us!).

Since the past articles have been strictly about Amber 2.0 and changes from the old version, today’s article will be about what we’re still working on. For information on Amber 2.0, check out our previous articles on ModDB.

Looking towards the future, we already have a few projects lined up which some of you may not know of. Now that Amber 2.0 is released, our full attention can be focused towards development of Full Invasion: Osiris, a standalone module and complete rebuild of Full Invasion 2 from the ground up. We’ve spoken about the module in the past, but more information will be released on ModDB as we get further into development. While Amber 2.0 has taken between 1,000-2,000k work hours to complete, we anticipate FI:O will take 2-6 times that amount.

We will be making full use of our Patreon rewards this time around, meaning that there will be exclusive testing sessions and early builds sent out for our supporters on Patreon for supporting development. If that sounds like something you’re interested in, we would appreciate checking it out.

Our big project for the future is Full Invasion 3 for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, but the community has yet to receive any information from TaleWorlds about how modding or the multiplayer-side of the game will even function on a basic level.

We are unable to begin working on FI3 until the tools are made available to the community, but we have already planned out a significant part of the module, provided things work as we expect them to. Regardless, development will begin as soon as we are able to, and our community will stay in the loop through ModDB, Steam, and over on our Discord Server.

Whether you have played Full Invasion 2 for years or if Amber 2.0 is your first experience with the game, we recommend heading over to our Discord Server and becoming involved in the community. At the time of writing this article, we have just under 200 active members joining in on the discussion. There are both text and voice channels to participate in, and it’s not strictly related to Full Invasion 2 either.

Our Discord Server is the best place to go if you have questions for the developers, feedback about the new version, or suggestions for the future (either FI2 or FI3) because we can respond right away and discuss stuff back and forth. We’re active on there almost all the time to chat or play games, and it’s a pretty nice bunch of people if I do say so myself.
