Friendship of Evilness v2
Full Version 1 commentAn updated version where the softlock on the lever in the Sewer is gone and with added mementos on how to solve the puzzles.
You play as puzzlelover Sam who one day finds a mysterious note in one of the cells. Find out who put it there and why. It's an improvement over the first one with a much better story, more scripting and better mapping. I hope you will enjoy playing it.

If theres a hammer somewhere, I never found it. Or the key that unlocks the bedroom door where I think it is. I'm soooo embarassed. And Xarox just pointlessly threw a chair at it and ended his video lol
The hammer is in the bedrooms. Go to the first door to the left and inside the room. Then cross the room, a crowbar is behind the paintning right across the room. Grab the crowbar, leave the room and go to the last door to the right in the corridor. Use the crowbar on the door, enter the room and the hammer is in the chest right next to the bed.
You don't need a key to enter the bedrooms but if you mean the attic key then it's in the dining halls in the room to the right, right across the main room.
Well....that explains it. There is nothing behind the painting. Just an empty space. Although I tried throwing the painting at the door. Obviously Xarox never found the crowbar either.
Weird, it's there in my file and it's been there all the time I tested the custom story.
I will delete everything and reinstall it. I'll try it again
....
Update: Didn't help. Just an empty space behind the painting. No crowbar. I deleted all saved games, docs, the mod, everything and reinstalled. weird. Hopefully its just me.
played it but i did note some issues in the video Youtube.com
I have updated the mod where the softlock on the lever is gone and added more mementos on how to solve the puzzles.
It's very old style mod. Beginner mod. Glitch everywere. Boring.
Stopped after 3 minutes.

Alright, so here's some of my first impressions after playing Friendship of Evilness:
• The quality of this mod's voice acting isn't all too good
• The map design is quite subpar and frustrating; not to mention that I had a really hard time getting into rooms in the Dungeon and Bedrooms maps because they were always very tight and closed into each other. There are also some misplaced walls and static objects here and there to the point where I can peek through them and accidentally clip out of the entire map
• Lighting is nonexistent given that some of the bright maps have no lamps/light sources to begin with; some of the maps can also be way too dark which could've been very problematic if I had very low sanity levels
• The puzzles make progressing through the mod a pain in the *** sometimes:
- You basically have a lever puzzle in the sewer that gets stuck and softlocks after pulling it up, so I had to start over the entire mod, go to the sewer again, and pull the lever down
- There is a hammer in the bedrooms and an acid jar in the attic. Although the catch here is, what do I even use them for? Or rather, what do I do with them really?
• Monster encounters are somewhat predictable, sometimes they refuse to despawn after the last node and go around the map from start to end repetitively
There's not much else I can say about FoE, other than it looking very unfinished, empty, and bland at times. I do want to appreciate the person who created this mod for not including cheap jumpscares, and for at least trying (sometimes people just give no effort and/or soul into making something whatsoever)
But this does look like there was some effort to be had with this mod. I can't give a clear and concise review about it yet, but these are some of my first impressions and the things that I felt the need to point out about this mod

As for the acid pot and hammer. Go to the Dining Hall and pick the hollow needle there, then use it on the swing door you see in the Main Hall and then you will see a wall you need to break with the hammer and just after that you need to remove the red web with the acid.
Ah cool, I was always mindlessly running around looking for something else to use them for. Thank you
Edit: Where is the hollow needle exactly in the Dining Hall? I think it could've been obscured somewhere not noticeable. But I also notice there is a (possibly) secret area behind a shelf, though I never got around to accessing it Nvm I finally accessed it, thanks once again
Thanks for the feedback, I will try to fix the bugs and add more clues to what to do with the items. I have never done voice acting before so that's why it's bland. I'm also rather new to programming and scripting.
No problem, I don't have anything against you for starting out programming and all things Amnesia modding really. The engine is probably simple to learn and make custom content with
