Hi,

I installed the mod on my Surface Pro 6 which has a somewhat custom resolution (2736x1824). The player ship visual status MFD shows up on the far right behind the weapons loadout MFD.

Sorry for late response. What you need to do:
1. Open file DATA/INTERFACE/HudShift.ini
2. Find line #277. It looks like:
position = 4da2fa, 0.5100, 4da30e, -0.2900, -1.0
3. Change second parameter to 0.3050
It must looks like:
position = 4da2fa, 0.3050, 4da30e, -0.2900, -1.0

That's all. Try it. :-)

Hello!
I like to use this mod.
But at the same time I do not like the additional Player Info & Target Info Boxes.
Is there a possibility to hide them both?

I tried to alter a little and only managed to not show anything inside them via not loading the corresponding dlls.
But the empty window still exists...

Sry, but I do not like those windows. Everything else looks good!

Hello. Maybe you need something different. This is mod especially about this new two windows.
If you want only widescreenpatch - you need to install Jason's Freelancer patch.
You can find it on Adoxa.altervista.org
this is site of the developer

So I love the style of this mod - Only those 2 additional Frames are not what I want. I looked through the patchlog, they weren't existing in prior versions.

The Widescreen Patch you supported is not a widescreenpatch but does change alot of other things, too! This is horrible! Possible Cheating everywhere.

I just wanted a mod to fix the widescreen problem. Nearly everything is fixed by editing some files - but the shield/hull/energy-bars are all too wide and on loading a game I would need to lift off and land again.

This mod here solved both problems, but gave me too much again.

Why so many features? :(

huh, okaaaay. For widescreen mod you need just EXE/jflp.dll, enabled in EXE/dacom.ini. Use clean Freelancer, copy jflp.dll to EXE folder of your freelancer and enable it in [Libraries] section in your EXE/dacom.ini (use my mod as example). That's all - widescreen patch will be activated.

Thank you very much. That is already awesome and I succeeded making it a mod in my mod manager.

One small thing:
Is it still possible to move the left and right box to the border of the screen?

Btw: Is it now only the widescreen and no additional strafe and controls?

If you want move boxes: use HudShift from official site Adoxa.altervista.org (anchor)

Easiest way to install: move HUDShift.dll to EXE, activate in Libraries section of dacom.ini, copy HUDShift.ini to DATA/Interface

Done.

All additional controls (like weapon groups) is working. You can us it in vanilla, just without visual buttons.

I finally registered to answer faster ^^

I now created a mod using the jflp.dll , dacom.ini, freelancer.ini in EXE, the HudShift.dll in DLLS, and the HudShift.ini in DATA/INTERFACE.
I can activate/deactivate through mod manager.
It seems to work fine.

Very much appriciate your help!
It looks awesome now.
I hope, I don't run into something weird, which was added by the jflp.dll. I still do not trust it xD
